Our worship service is a cross between the traditional Lutheran lectionary and a little more moderan format with traditional hymns and modern praise songs. Because of Covid-19, there are a few pews designated as social distant seating in the back right pews. Masks are available as you enter for those of you that want to use them but forgot yours. After each worship service, coffee hours are hosted by member volunteers.
We worship on Sunday mornings at 10 am.
Restrooms are in the parish hall in a separate building from the santuary where the worship services are held.
Children are all welcome at West Ida. The service includes a special childrens time with a lesson based on the bible readings for the day. Classes are held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday mornings, after the childrens talk during the worship service, called Hungry Seekers for children 5th grade and under. The children Confirmation classes are being held for children that are confirmation age. Contact our office if you would like to enroll your children in Hungry Seekers or Confirmation classes. You can find a description of Hungry Seekers classes and Confirmation classes on the Study page of this website.
Handicap parking is available at the front of the church building along the road and behind the church building (look for handicap parking signs). Regular parking is also available by the road and in the yard on the North side of the church building.
